Habitat for Humanity is having a contest to find America's next young home developer. They are looking for a good design team to help build a new house in the neighborhood. In order to enter, however, you must first understand area and perimeter. Your investigation of this webquest will help you understand these concepts so you can pass your architect exam and help your team design the "Dream House" of the future!

Habitat for Humanity only gives you five days to pass your exam, draw a blueprint for your home and build a toothpick model of it. In order to win this contest, your team must design the biggest house with the best design, within a specific budget and on time. Quality and pride in your work is a must! You will have time to work on this project in class, but your team will have to do some homework in order to complete the project on time. It is the responsibility of every person on the team to do their fair share of the work to ensure the project is completed by the deadline.
